A few Sunday’s ago I got to take pictures of Zach and his son Bentley here in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The bond between father and son just warms the heart!
Bentley is 2 1/2, the wonderful toddler stage. You know where there is never a still moment and getting them to pose for a picture is pretty much impossible, well good thing I didn’t ask him to. Bentley got to be himself during our session, and aren’t those the memories you want of your kids anyway. Them just being themselves. Especially toddlers, they grow so fast and in time the things they enjoy now they will grow out of. I thrive on capturing kids in their element, it’s my goal every session.
He has such an adventurous spirit, and I am so glad he let me in so I could capture it!
His curiosity is so precious. Sometime I envy kids, how they view the world with such wonder. Sometimes as adults we just go though life and forget that God made this world for us to enjoy, to be amazed at all the cool stuff He put here for us. So glad I get to be reminded by such a cute kid to keep exploring the world.
Bentley is an explorer for sure. He saw this opening and was determined to fit inside.
Laughter is so important, it brings joy to the soul. It’s also contagious, and if you had heard his adorable laugh, you would have been laughing too. Just looking at this image brings a smile to my face.
This little guy sure does love his daddy, look at those hugs!
It is such an honor to be allowed access into my clients lives, to capture you and your family at your most real moments. Thank you for being such awesome people to photograph.
